Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

Yes, it's a chain restaurant and the menu is the same no matter where you go, but this Ruby Tuesday was something a bit different. First, salad bar - for a busy Sunday afternoon, the salad bar was fully stocked, all the veggies were fresh and crisp and it was clean. You can tell a lot of care is taken at this place with the salad bar Second, the service - our server's name was Keenon, and he has to go into my top 5 servers EVER! It was clear that he had a large section, but you would have never guessed with the amount of service and attention we received. He was attentive, nothing was too much trouble and he just had a fantastic personality! Overall, great experience!

Recently, my family and I (and my son's friend) visited this restaurant. The food was plentiful and good. The service was fantastic as the wait staff was friendly, halpful, and efficient. The set up was fine and our party of 7 was accommodated nicely at a large round table for our convenience. The menu, as usual, provided a wide variety of tasty choices. It wasn't until I received our check that I regretted stopping at RT! I was shocked that 3 salad bars, 2 burger plates, 2 kids'meals, and 5 sodas resulted in a $76 bill ($90 including tip). For many folks, this high-dollar meal wouldn't be too big of a problem. For me, I won't go back; I certainly don't think our experience was worth the price...and our experience was good. I just felt the food, although good, was a little basic for the cost. For those with deeper pockets than I, more power to you as you go back and visit.

Had the buffalo chicken burger! It was good, nothing to write home about, the staff was pleasant, we recommend if you are in a rush but do not want fast food!

Good food. Great service. Thanks for a good evening. They have code zero which is a plus for the family. I only eat birds and the turkey burger was the best.

My wife loves Ruby Tuesday. We decided to stop at the Rock Hill SC Ruby Tuesday the day before yesterday for lunch with family. That was a big mistake! The waiter brought out our drinks and spilled all of our drinks all over everyone at the table. There was an extremely poor attempt by who I believe was the manager or assistant manager to move us (black family) to another table, which another hostess attempted to seat another family (white family) at while we were standing there, so we were moved to yet another table. I don't like to accuse any establishment of being culturally insensitive or borderline racist, but not much else was done to make any of us feel like remaining there to eat. We left and we'll likely never return. We instead ate at O'Charley's and received excellent service from a waitresses there.

Sat at the bar on a very busy Mother's Day holiday. I know it's probably not the best day to pick as far as eating out since everyone (and their mother....[insert laugh here]) were out and about. You could tell the waitstaff was a bit stressed and busy. The bartender was friendly, but we did wait a while for food. My guess is the kitchen was backed up... I ordered the Avocado Turkey Burger with a side of onion rings and cauliflower mash. Everything was pretty good, but I probably walked out of there feeling like I gained 20 lbs. Probably should have just opted for the salad bar (which is normally a stable at most Ruby Tuesdays) but I didn't feel like drinking on a salad stomach.

There's nothing all that special about Ruby Tuesdays. If you like the Applebees and Carlos O' Charlies of the world, Rubies will be right up you alley. The food is typical American fare with a pleasant wait staff. This location isn't one of the nicer or spacious ones I've been too, but it still has the nice salad bar. I frequented Ruby Tuesdays years ago for the salad bar alone. Try: The salad bar with those delicious pumpernickel croutons Avoid: Expecting too much

Wonderful, friendly service so far. I'm sure we will be back here often as it's right across from our hotel. I haven't eaten here yet; just cocktails, fun, and laughs. Speaking of... The dirty martinis are awesome. Perfect amount of dirt! Z was our server and she was attentive, lots of fun, with a splash of sass! Which is what you need with our sometimes rowdy crew. :)

Came for Sunday brunch. Not a great place for brunch. Over priced. Service was awful. They give you 3 menus. Brunch menu not alot of selections. Will not come back for brunch. The french toast was good though.

Went there on Sunday around lunch time, not to crowded. Waitress was OK. Tried their New Summer Grill with Steak, Shrimp, and Chicken with a Mango salsa, and rice. Shrimp was excellent cooked just right. Steak was not cooked properly, had to send it back. Chicken was moist and not overcooked. Also had Broccoli with the grill and first they where undercooked, and cold. Waitress brought out a new order and they where OK. The Mango salsa was slightly spicy for me, almost difficult to eat. Can not hold the salsa over the kitchen when company recipe is at fault. Salad bar was clean, and items looked mostly fresh, and selection was average. Really liked their Honey Mustard salad dressing, not to sweet but just right. Having been in the restaurant business for quite some time would have, would have though the manager would have came over and talked with me concerning all of the issues with the food. Nope. I did mention to the host on my way out that there where some issues with quality control from the kitchen. Overall service and food was average, however I do expect better quality control from the kitchen.

The food was great and service was good. The only thing I would have to say needs improvement is they need more of a selection on the the Fit items. My son ordered food that was way too spicy for him and they had no problem exchanging it for something that suited his taste. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. All in all great place!
